En este apartado tienes que tratar de utilizar expresiones y vocabulario variado. Write about 100 to 150 words in the following topic: There is no important difference between an animal and a human, and this means that the use of animals for food, research or exhibition should be prohibited. Discuss. First of all I agree with the statement that there is no important difference between an animal and a human. Just as in the animal world many animals hunt and kill other animals for food, so we also consume animals as an essential part of our diet, since there is no substitute for animal protein. Unfortunately, there exists a need for research in finding new cures for many diseases and the use of animals allows us the possibility of testing new drugs and experimenting with new treatments which, in the long run, may save human lives. As for using animals for exhibition, in my opinion, it should be prohibited, or at least limited to their use for didactic purposes to enable children to see species that otherwise would be unknown to them. |
